Origin of the term:
There is no source that determines where this term was born, and it is most likely from the Arabic language collectives. When the term “Photography” means “photograph” in English, which came from the Greek language and was divided into two parts “Photo” meaning light and “Graphy” meaning drawing, which is thus It means “photograph” and then the translation was processed to become “photographing.”[1]
When personal photos began to be used in official records, people would bring pictures of different sizes with a complete picture of the imagined and with dark or influential backgrounds in the picture, and this was far from what was desired. Most likely, the term “sun picture” began to be used to denote that what is required is the person’s face. Where a person’s face represents the sun’s disk with a bright white background like looking at the sun’s disk, the term “solar image” is spread to help people understand what is required of them, which is a picture of their faces, not their bodies, with bright white backgrounds, not with colored or embellished backgrounds.
