 School problems in adolescents

School is a big part of a teenager's life. Difficulties in almost all areas of life often manifest themselves in the form of problems at school.

Learning disabilities may first show up when schoolwork becomes more demanding, especially in the bright child who had

previously been able to compensate for their weaknesses.

Sometimes a mild intellectual deficit that was not recognized earlier can lead to problems in school. Behavioral problems that developed earlier in childhood, such as attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, can continue to cause academic problems in adolescents.

Specific school-related issues include the following

  • Fear of going to school
  • Absenteeism without authorization
  • Stall
  • Academic underachievement (especially a drop in grades or a drop in performance)

School problems during the teenage years can result from the following causes

  • Rebellion and a need for independence (most often)
  • mental disorders, such as depression or anxiety
  • substance taking
  • Family conflicts
  • learning disabilities
  • behavioral problems

When teens begin to seek more freedom, this desire for freedom can conflict with their parents' desire for safety. Teenagers rebel in various ways, they may refuse to go to school or start drinking alcohol.

5 advantages of confinement on your private life and your job

Faced with the emergency measures adopted by the government to protect the population and limit the spread of the Coronavirus, you are forced to remain confined to your home. This unusual situation leads you to temporarily adopt a new way of living and working.

LESS TIME SPENT IN PUBLIC TRANSPORT OR CONNECTIONS

Before, it was waking up at dawn, showering, breakfast on the go, and presto! In short, the famous metro-work-sleep punctuated your daily life. Head for the rush of public transport or endless traffic jams. Since confinement, you can get up later and enjoy those extra minutes of sleep.

MAXIMUM CONCENTRATION TO PERFORM A PROFESSIONAL TASK EFFECTIVELY

In the office, when you want to stay focused on the file that your boss is looking forward to, there is often a colleague in the mood to laugh, and he likes to entertain you. You are then disturbed and you do not advance at the desired pace. Some

friction can then be felt. But that was before the lockdown!

YOU SAVE SAVINGS WITHOUT REALIZING IT!

For the moment, it is over to walk the streets of the city center and indulge in compulsive purchases while passing in front of a store window. You no longer go to the restaurant with your loved ones or your colleagues, and all your activities are suspended, including the Easter holidays that you were looking forward to.

YOU HAVE REVIEWED YOUR PRIORITIES TO RECONNECT WITH THE ESSENTIALS

The first days of confinement were not easy to live. We had to find a new rhythm, new activities and above all, refrain from going out for a walk despite particularly pleasant weather. But nearly a month after the start of this unique experience, you have reviewed your priorities. You devote more time to your loved ones, by calling them or organizing virtual aperitifs.

YOU FINALIZE DOMESTIC TASKS TOO OFTEN POSTPONED TO THE NEXT DAY

From the start of confinement, only one question went through your mind: what am I going to be able to do with my days? However, you have somewhere on a post-it or in your phone a "to-do list" that has grown over the months. And if it was the opportunity to cross off some tasks? No more procrastination, it's time to take action! Clean your home, put away and sort your belongings, it's done. You live in a pleasant, clean, and serene place, ideal for supporting confinement.

El Jadida: She claims to be injured to receive compensation

Once the accident took place, all the travelers got off and left except for two injured women who were evacuated to the emergency department.

It is Saturday, December 4, 2021. A young woman has just returned to the headquarters of the traffic accident service under El Jadida security. Supporting medical certificate, she claims that she suffers from a total temporary incapacity (ITT) of 24 days. Handing it to the head of the service, she explains to him that she is one of the victims of the traffic accident which took place on Wednesday, December 1, 2021, between a bus and a car in which she was injured. Was she really one of the injured travelers onboard the bus? The bus driver is adamant she wasn't one of them. And to clarify that once the accident took place, all the travelers got off and left except for two injured women who were evacuated to the emergency department at Mohammed V hospital in El Jadida. He adds that this woman who claims to be one of the victims of the accident went to the scene after the accident.

Arrested, this woman told investigators that she was a queue jumper and was actually on board the bus but got off before the accident. Then she went to a school. Turning back, she notices the bus parked at the roundabout. She learns that he was the subject of a traffic accident. From then on, she decides to get on the bus and wait for the ambulance. The driver asks her to get off, but she pretends not to hear anything. She then goes to the hospital to get this 24-day medical certificate from ITT. A medical counter-expertise carried out at the El Jadida hospital certifies that the ITT is zero days. Why did she claim to be a victim of the accident? His answer was clear, namely to receive compensation. However, the public prosecutor at the court of the first instance accused her of contempt of the judicial police through false statements and kept her on Wednesday, January 5, 2022, in preventive detention. As for the doctor who wrote the medical certificate, he was prosecuted on bail.

Interview with Badr Banoun, captain of the local Atlas Lions

Le Matin: The national team had difficulty entering the match against Libya. The players have multiplied the errors, especially at the level of transmissions. Did the importance of the match (a semi-final) and the nature of the opponent (a North African derby) influence the players?

Yes, it's true. We don't have many players in the squad who have already played in a semi-final of African competition. I think that except Salaheddine Saïdi and Anas Zniti who are experienced players, the rest of the group has reached this level of competition for the first time. In addition, we did not expect the Libyan team to just defend. It was believed that the Libyans would open the game and attack. Faced with this tactic, we were able to stay focused and applied until the opener in the second

half time.

What did Jamal Sellami tell you at half-time, when the national team had all the difficulties in the first half?

He asked us to be patient. He trusted us. We also have confidence in our attackers. The proof: Ayoub El Kaabi scored two goals in crucial moments of the match. I thank the Moroccan public who were behind us from the start to the end of the match.

Did Anas Zniti's error not influence the performance of the national team?

The mistake made by Anas Zniti can happen to any player. This error gave us more determination to seek victory and qualification in the final. We were all behind him and we managed to give him this victory. Ziti remains a great keeper.

Does the transfer offers received by Badr Banoun not influence your performance in this CHAN?

Not at all. I received two official offers, but they did not meet my expectations. I hope to be on the final list of 23 players who will be called up to play in the 2018 World Cup.
