Al-Taie Club is a Saudi sports club that was established in 1960AD / 1382 AH. It is located in the city of Hail and plays in the Saudi Professional League. Nicknamed by the media non-stop. The Saudi League was in the first division with Fahd Al-Qarni

The story of the club’s founding dates back to 1937, when several young men from the Teachers Institute in Hail wanted to establish their own club, which they called Al-Ahly Club, and that was in 1386, and the red and black color was chosen as the team’s logo, but after a short period, the club was informed that the name Al-Ahly is specific to the Al-Ahly club in Jeddah. That is why they agreed on the name of the Hatem Al-Tai Club, and its yellow and red logo was adopted. In 1388 the name was shortened to Al-Tai Club and the gray and white color was adopted. Professor Ahmed Al-Faqih chose this color, and it is still this color to this day.


Achievements


Al-Taie is the first club in the Kingdom to ascend from the second division to the first division, after classifying the Kingdom’s clubs into three categories (excellent - first - second) and that was 1396/1397 AH season when it achieved the Kingdom’s championship for second-tier clubs, not only that but also achieved other achievements, the most important of which are: - The first club In the North, he ascended to the Premier League, during the 1397/1398 AH season. The first club in the Kingdom to ascend from the Second Division to the Premier League, passing through the First Division without stopping.


- The first club in the Kingdom to ascend to the Premier League (youth category), after dividing the Premier and First clubs into two categories.


Al-Taie is the first club in the Kingdom and almost the only one to play all of its matches in the Premier League, due to the lack of a stadium for it the first time and in the second because the stadium was not ready, in the season 1397-1398 and 1406.


- The first club in Hail to host a European club to play a friendly match with it, and that was on 6/7/1408 AH when the Austrian club Rapid Vienna hosted the "European Champion" and the match ended in a 1-1 draw.


The first club in the north to attract a Brazilian coach. And that was in the year 1402 AH when the coach "Runlomordris" was recruited.


- The first club in the Kingdom to play all its matches outside its home, due to the lack of a stadium in Hail, due to the lack of readiness of the stadium of Prince Abdulaziz bin Musaed City in Hail.


- The first club in the North to reach a final match in the major Saudi championships, when it reached the final match of the Crown Prince Cup in the meeting with Al-Ittihad Club on 10/1/1418 AH.


- The first club in the North to host the Arab Championship qualifiers, and that was during the period from 3/26/1419 AH until 1/4/1419 AH with the participation of the Egyptian Ismaili and Al-Mawrada clubs, in addition to Al-Tai.


- Runner-up of the first official league for the Hail region in 1386 AH.


- Champion of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs Cup for the Second Division Clubs in 1389/1390 AH.


- Champion of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs Cup for Second Division Clubs in 1392/1393 AH.


- Champion of the Kingdom’s Championship for Second Division Clubs, Champions of the Boarding Zones, which was held in Riyadh in 1397 AH.


- Runner-up of the First Division League in 1405 AH, obtaining the shield and achieving promotion to the Premier League for the second time in its history.


- Fourth place in the ranking of the Premier League clubs in the years 1407 AH and also 1410 AH. Bronze medal three times for the Saudi Federation Cup for Premier Clubs in the years 1407/1409/1411 AH


- Second place in the finals of the Kingdom’s Youth Championship in 1413 AH, the Saudi Federation Cup for First Class Clubs in 1414 AH.


- Runner-up of the Saudi Federation Cup for first-class clubs in 1415 AH, champion of the First Division in 1415 AH, obtaining the shield and achieving promotion to the Premier League for the third time in its history, reaching the semi-finals of the Federation Cup for Premier League clubs in 1416 AH / 1424 AH.


Participation in the First Division League (youth category) and promotion to the Premier League in 1416 AH and 1421 AH.


- Runner-up of the Crown Prince Cup for Saudi Clubs in 1417 AH


- The runner-up of the Saudi Buds League 2012-2013, led by the national coach Abdullah Al-Qaba


3- The national coach, Faraj Al-Talal, is considered one of the first national trainers in the Kingdom, along with his colleague, Captain Khalil Al-Zayani. Al-Taei was promoted to the Premier League in 1397. He began training in 1393.
